I’ve been reading posts from this site for quite some time now and finally decided to join. My name is Christian and I’m from Roanoke, VA. I’m a dubstep producer, amateur jeweler, and a pipe tobacco lover. I like straight Virginia and strong aromatics. As a newish pipe smoker getting into VA/PERs what do you guys recommend!? By the way, cleaned my pipes today with Kraken spiced rum and it left the best smell/taste ever. ::

Welcome! I lurked for a while before joining too. My two favorite VaPers are Anniversary Kake from Pipes and Cigars, and Fillmore from GL Pease. I also enjoy Luxury Bullseye Flake from Peter Stokkebye, but it really needs some age to shine. I really also like Dunbar from Esoterica, but it’s pretty hard to find. My favourites so far are Samuel Gawith's St. James Flake and Escudo Navy Deluxe. Although there are many, many more that i have yet to try.
