Golden Dansk

I recently tried a new tobacco from Peter Stokkebye called Golden Dansk. They say its supposed to be fairly similar to 1-Q. I didnt really think it was but thats beside the point because it was fantastic. It has rapidly become one of my favorite smokes. It smokes really cool and had no real bite that i noticed. I think its fairly new as its was just added to tobaccoreviews.com this week and still hasnt been reviewed yet. So give it a go if your wanting to try a new aromatic, it will be worth a go.

Hey Thom....Thanks for sharing your experience with PS Golden Dansk....I recently acquired a small supply since I, also, had heard that it was similar to 1Q ( and I like 1Q a lot) but I haven't tried it yet....Now you have whetted my apetite. I have to side with those who say they have never found a PS blend that they don't like.... :D

In the last couple of years I have become a huge fan of PS tobaccos. Never had a bad blend. Some that I didn't care for enough to reorder but not because of quality.

I have word direct from Stokkebye that Golden Dansk is in fact their answer to 1-Q. They also have another new one which is Dansk Black, which is their answer to BCA.
Word is that these tobaccos are doing so well that they can barely keep up with demand.
They were originally announced to the trade in August at the IPCPR Show. I have a couple of sample pouches that I need to break open now.

The Dansk Black was amazing too Kevin. I was sent a sample of it from smokingpipes.com on one of my orders. It is also one that I plan to stock in my cellar. My poor wallet is going into shock with all these new tobaccos lol. Oh well if im going to go broke at least ill do it with a smile on my face and something to load my pipe with =p.

Golden Dansk is on constant reorder. I started with a sample from pipesandcigars.com. That got me hooked. Now I order 8 oz at a time. I keep some in my truck, some in the garage and some in the cellar.

Golden Black was pretty mellow as well. I like the Golden Dansk the best of the to. Very mellow smoke. No bite, just enjoyable bowl after bowl.

I ordered some Seattle club tobacco from p&c and they sent a small bag of golden damask, what a good smoke, ordered 8 0zs, and it will be on my list. Tbradsim the of cajun

I had a sample of both the gold and dark and layered them and it was amazing. and I am one who does not like aros

I will have to try that jaysin. I like the gold by itself though and cant complain...P&C has sent me several samples so far and I haven't had to buy any yet.
