Our featured interview on tonight's Pipes Magazine Radio Show is with Glen Whelan. Glen is the Director of Sales for Peterson of Dublin. Peterson is a family tradition for Glen. His father worked in the factory for 50 years, eventually serving as Factory Manager. Although Glen now serves as Director of Sales, he started as a part-time retail associate in the Peterson store at the age of 16. After more than a decade in Peterson retail, Glen joined the sales team in Sallynoggin. At the top of the show, we will have an “Ask the Pipemaker” segment with Jeff Gracik.

The show airs every Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern US time, and can be found at PipesMagazine.com and all podcast apps.

Really excited to hear from Glen. He does a great job on that Peterson ad that airs on the show and on the videos that are done at Smoking Pipes.

Glen was an excellent interview. It was nice to hear more from him than just the commercial that runs on the show. He ended up in a dream job and still enjoys going to work. Can’t hope for much better than that.

The music was a great kickoff for the holidays. Hard to go wrong with Chet Atkins. The guy made it all sound effortless and musical, a real gift.

What a gem of an interview. I wasn’t expecting Pipes Magazine Radio to deliver a candid telling of how dreams get burnt down and built back up again — but dang — sorry I doubted you guys.

Some great laugh-out-loud lines in there from Glen, too. Particularly his favorite pipe smoking memory. Dark, sweet, and hilarious.
