Ghosted Perique

Bought a nice Savenilli estate pipe a couple days ago. Cleaned it,reemed it, packed it with Autumn Evening and all I can taste is Perique. The prior owner must of dedicated it to Perique. Is this a good thing?

Do you like Perique? if so smoke away.. otherwise try the coffee ground clean.

After smoking a few bowls in this pipe I'm starting to enjoy it.

It may clear up with a few smokes, but if not and its bothering you than do a more thorough cleaning. I would recommend a good salt treatment.

You could always load up with Crooner! LOL!!! they say Deertongue ghosts.. Ive never had anything but Mac baren HH lat flake ghost. and it was ugly... thankfully I had a backup pipe on vacation... The ghosted pipe smokes fine now with just a brandy cleaning.
