Getting a New Meerschaum from Meerschaum Market

Just ordered a Apple Designers lattice Hand Carved Block Meerschaum Pipe in a fitted CASE 6683. Should be in the mail from Turkey tomorrow. I had an old Calabash Meerschaum back in the late '70s and am looking forward to renew the Meer Experience.

If this is the pipe, I think it's a wonderful choice! :clap:

Bowl Diameter : 21mm. =0.82"

Bowl Depth : 44 mm. = 1.73"

...gonna be a good smoker, I'll bet.

Those lattice meers get me going too. I don't own one, but I'd like to. They are the only meers I care for for some reason. Keep your carved sultans' heads and pirate ships and all that. A symmetrical pattern like this floats my boat. Some day.

Can't find it on the website. Probably acrylic.

Would a product from Meerschaum Market be as good as buying IMP meer?

I found the selection better at MM than the IMPs at Smoking Pipes. Could only find good reviews on both of them.

Yeah Booker I'm with you. I have smoked a few I bought as estates but I've resold most of them. I have a really nice older one that my four year old dropped and broke the stem but I haven't gotten it restemmed.
I'd really like to get a new one just to start the coloring process on my own, but I'm always leery because I'd hate to scratch it up. I hardly ever smoke in the house.
I always talk myself out of buying one.
