GENTLEMAN 438 - Maker?

I was looking through my box is MISC pipes, and found one that reminded me of a Dunhill. However, I know that a Dunhill most likely was never included in a Junk Lot from ebay. The only stamping that I can see is the word "GENTLEMAN" and "438". A quick search with those words and "pipe" show no real hits. So I will bring this here.

Well, I went ti PIPEPHIL and there is an entry for "Gentleman" "Pipes with this name have been produced by Chacom, Butz Choquin (France) or P.M.T. Amadeus (Greece)"
Now I am just not sure which one of these it would be.. or if was another.
