I picked this one up with the intent of flipping. But....after it arrived and I found the shape number, 510 F, I couldn't find another like it. It reminds me of a Dunhill 120, or Sasieni Viscount Lascelles (or a poor man's LC!).
It had it's share of knocks and dings, some of which still remain. The roundel is of the smaller sized, identical in size to those on my 1930's hallmarked GBD's. This one also has the bullet style tenon. Those details and the shape of the button make think this one might be from the 1940's to 1950's. I hadn't cleaned the shank when the pix where taken, following that task the stem fitment is perfect.
And all this is why my collection grows instead of remaining static...
