Gaylord Perry passed away today at age 84. I really liked to watch him pitch. He had spunk and durability, the hallmarks of a great pitcher. Here's a cool story about him.

Even into old age, for ball players, he was as competitive as they came. RIP

One of the all time gates IMHO. Reminded me of Nolan Ryan a bit with better control. Very durable and efficient with his pitching motion. May he RIP.
