Gave My Buddy A Taste Of Some Real Pipe Tobacco

My buddy is the one who got me into pipes, he has this old Aristocob he got at a Flea Market for $5. We got some Paladin Black Cherry and liked it. Well, I continued my piping and he didn't. The other day I showed him my cellar, and let him smell the different tobaccos. He really like the smell of Frog Morton On The Bayou, Countryside, and Mississippi Mud.After we did that we went outside to have a smoke. He was smoking a Black & Mild, and I was enjoying a bowl of Mississippi Mud. I gave him a few puffs of the Mississippi Mud and he said "Thats amazing". So it looks like he might move towards pipes now.

Cool deal. He might as well go back to the pipe if he's smoking Black and Milds. I used to like those things too.

He only smokes them occasionally.

He also smokes cigarettes and cigars.

I quit the nails long before taking up the pipe, so it never was one or the other for me. Hopefully, he'll work more pipe into his smoking ritual. It's sort of like how I always introduce people to craft beers and imports and they marvel at how much better they taste but the next time you see them, there they are with a fizzy yellow light "beer". I just don't get it, myself.

It is. Thats some strong tobacco. Everything in it is very dark.

I have had many friends in the same position. most go back to doing whatever it is they did before, only a few have stayed with the pipe

He probably will stick with cigarettes, but hopefully he will smoke the pipe more then he did before
