I smoked my first pipe the other day, and was reminded why I haven't smoked it in a long time. It didn't smoke good at all. Plus it's almost impossible to get a pipe cleaner through it. Its one of those really cheap pipes that aren't briar. So I think that I'm going to cremate it.
Here is the pipe in question.

So, what is it made of? If you do cremate it, I would suggest saving the stem. Never know when you could use it in the future. It doesn't look like something that would smoke very well.

I have no Idea what is made of. I think I remember someone saying it could be walnut. It looks nice, but its really cheap. Its not even as good as a Grabow Its hard to to get a pipe cleaner through it because of the draft hole, it wasn't drilled well. The brand is Lucienne, not to be confused with Luciano.

redrill the hole? Maybe you could Turn it into a Lamp

That would be a pretty small lamp.
I'll keep The ferule, but not the stem. The stem is really wide, and isn't like the stems for my other pipes. I'll get a picture up in a minute

I don't understand why you would want to destroy it. Just toss it in a drawer and forget about it.

After all, it's not like you have to feed it...

Do what you think is right, maybe cremate and keep the ashes haha, you never know, you might wish you had kept it if you get rid of it, your decision

Hey man, do what youd like, I cant say I would keep it, I have my first briar pipe, the first one I bought myself anyway, I was given one but it is full of cracks, still have it, just probably not going to keep it. I consider my wally frank bulldog my first real pipe, and thats the one I keep close

Any aerosol type cleaner like Arango's Pipe Spray would clean it. Spray and dump. Let dry. Smoke it.
