I’ve been going through the cellar recently and now you get the chance to trade away for every speck and morsel of you so do desire.
Now, I’m not looking to live at the Post Office, so I’ll be very much interested in trading away whole lots only. This will not change.
As you can see below, quite a few of these jars are wax sealed. If you wish for the tobacco to be shipped inside of the wax sealed jars, or any jars for that matter, instead of sealed ziplock bags, you will be covering shipping, as shipping costs rack up both quickly and radically due to the additional weight.
Lot 1: around 500g of Full Virginia Flake sealed early last year, with an additional jar containing 61g of FVF from 2013.
Lot 2: around 500g of what is now called GH Rum Flake, however, there is a good chance it was already sitting around for quite some time before I got it as it was still under the name Jamaican Flake on the GH box when it arrived and sports crystalline structures out the wazoo. I wrote Rum Flake so as so save space and time. I have included a 50g tin of Capstan ONC Ready Rubbed just in case it is not perfectly 500g.
Lot 3: I feel the images below describe themselves quite well. All sealed 50g tins.
In exchange I am looking for:
C&D Carolina Red Flake 2024
As many sealed 50g tins as physically possible, most attractive offer by any person who respects each other’s time wins. I think we are all a little tired of conversations and dealings that seem to stretch on for several eons that end up with the other fellow staunchly standing by their final offer, the equivalent of which is an empty half-gallon pickle jar ghosted with Captain Black Grape being rammed up your ass followed by the business end of a loaded shotgun with a hair-trigger so sensitive that it’ll go off if you look at it.
But that’s really it, I’m afraid I’m not interested in much else.
(Please refer back to this section if you are thinking of offering pipes, cigars, whiskey, home-brewed bottles of “spermaceti oil”, et cetera.)
Maybe if someone had some sealed paint cans of LJP’s 150th I might budge a little, but I’m pretty neutral on that front, and I’m far more interested in the CRF 2024 as there were 18,000 produced and it didn’t exactly read as universally loved, so I figured it would be easier to let go of. If you do want to make an offer of any other pipe tobacco, that’s okay, but I really doubt I’ll go for it unless it would want to make my eyes pop out of my head so keep that in mind, but I’m also not trying to screw anyone over. I know a smidge of all this might read as if written by a sweaty-toothed madman, but really it is just the double shot cappuccino I just had touching my blood.
