Starting to Get Obsessed

I have far too much pipe tobacco sitting around and I'm going through a divorce and could use the funds. I used to buy a lot to cellar away as I did with cigars, but pipe tobacco was much cheaper (50 tins of tobacco was often cheaper than one box of pedestrian cigars); on the flip side they take up a bit more space and I haven't been smoking very much lately. I sadly got into pipe smoking right after McClelland had closed and went full FOMO on some blends. I will likely be posting new lots on future Sundays, this is taking a bit more time than I had anticipated.

Shipping within continental United States is included in all lot prices (tried to maximize space in priority mail medium and flat rate boxes when possible), buyer can add insurance at an additional expense and may consider international shipping. Payment via pp f&f, Zelle, or trade. PM if my prices are way off, but I've done a bit of research and have included a couple of snippets (from a site sponsor). I will always consider trades for '83 McCranies red flake and ribbon, McClelland 40th Anniversary, Stonehaven, rectangular Dunhill flake tins, certain other favorites, and gold bullion or coins.

Lot 1: 22 tins of 2017 discontinued McClelland made 1.75 oz. Nording Hunter Blend Labrador lot @ $775. These have sold for $50+ a piece, lot value is $1,100 and this represents a 30% discount.

Lot 3: 12 3.5 oz tins 4th Generation Family Reserve limited release and 15 discontinued 1.75 oz. Captain Black Black Sea @ $700. I'm pretty sure I paid $30+ for each of the 4th Generation tins (a nice aromatic) and they've sold for $55 a tin in the past, this is an average of around $25 a tin.

Lot 9: 120 tins of discontinued 2016 Dunhill Dark Flake with a single tin of Dunhill flake to round it out (11 stacks of 11, 121 tins total) @ $4,500. Wonderful blend and hence I went several hundred tins deep, comes out to about $36.50 per tin (keep in mind this item is heavy and is going to cost me a lot to ship).

Lot 10: 'Misc. fits in a large flat rate' 19 tin lot consisting of 1 tin of Smokingpipes 20th C&D XX Flake, 3 tins of Cornell & Diehl Corn Cob pipe, 3 tins of Cornell & Diehl small batch 2019 Carolina red flake, 1 tin of Cornell & Diehl small batch 2020 Carolina Red Flake w/ perique, 8 tins of Cornell & Diehl small batch 2021 Carolina Red Flake w/ perique, 1 tin Robert McConnell Latakia Flake, 1 tin Sutliff Crumble Cake barrel aged no. 2 limited edition, and 12 oz. tub of Captain Black Grape @ $500.
