This is what we in the Hudson Valley Pipe Club called a B.A.D, Big Ass Dublin.
This has Dunhill RING GRAIN designation for the better than usual grain pattern, no too common, only reserved for the better examples of sandblast finish pipes.
Drilled to the bottom center, this is an all around excellent condition 25 year old pipe, lightly smoked.
The date stamp is a bit blurry but looks closest to a "38" for 1998 and that jives with my records as being purchased new in 6/99.
A really light chunk of wood, dry smoker.
Full kit with original box, sleeve and insert.
