Frog Morton Cellar

I am really starting to enjoy this blend. At first I wasn't sure - it came across as having a bit of a chemical taste for me when I first cracked the tin a couple of weeks ago. After a couple of weeks in the tin though, I am enjoying it a whole lot more. One criticism: I found a big square block of tobacco in the middle of the tin that was a bitch to cut and smoked like shit. Other than that, everything is great with this blend.

If you cube cut the block, it will smoke better.

I didn't bother cutting it, just found the biggest pipe I had and gravity filled it. Found I used a lot of zippo fluid though.

Actually, I tried this way back when I first started smoking pipes again. I was used to heavy aro's, drug store Capt Back etc, followed by a house blend at De la Concha in NYC. The pipe man introduced me to Frog Morton, but i really didn't care for it even though I finished the tin.
Over the last 8 months I have shifted to Eng and Va's, and Tuesday night I tried Frog Morton cellar again, and Voila!!
What a fantastic blend.
Its amazing how much they improved the blend over 6 months!

Come on guys, its smokes way better if you rub it out. Granted it takes most of the skin off of you palms and leaves horrible slivers in ya, but it makes too bowls full and lights and smokes far easier.
All in all cellar is my favorite froggy.
Apart from the block it tastes horrible

I just ordered some FMC last night never tried it before but most like it pretty well. I also got some Dunhill EMP and Nightcap. I was feeling very Englishy... :roll:

I like it in the bottom half of the bowl with some Old Dark Fired in the top half.

I find that if you take the cube to a cheese shredder it works pretty well, seems a little ashy though. :rofl:

On a serious note FMC is quickly becoming my absolute favorite tobacco.

All this FMC talk made me fill a bowl in my Brigham Chinook 426. I havent had any cellar in a few weeks as ive been trying some new blends, man ive missed this wonderfully creamy smoke.
