Frog Morton Cellar

1st off I'm not much of a reviewer my palate is not the same as most, so will report what I like. I was gifted 2 tins of Frog Morton a few months back and opened the first one today.

I love the ketchup/BBQ smell when I opened the tin, liked the look of the leaf, and the awesome sweet smokey flavor from start to finish. I only had one relite and zero tongue bite even when pushed a little. Left me with a pleasant and enjoyable after taste. I am really going to miss this when it's gone.

The widow of a Deacon in our church. Their son took all of his pipes and most of the tobacco, apparently, he's not an avid pipe smoker because he didn't want the Frog Morton or the Christmas cheer because it was too old. Since Brother Bob and I spent time fishing and smoking pipes together she asked me if I would like it or she was going to throw it away.

Too old? It's only gotten better with time. Throwing them away would've been truly senseless considering how much they can fetch with consignment, but she probably doesn't know about Tin Bids or Pipe Stud.

1. Her their son obviously has no clue as to what he is talking about. 2. she knows now about the value of all three tins, and about the auction sites. I explained it to her I'm not going to take advantage of an old lady. 3. (are her words not mine) I am a 93-year-old woman who just lost her husband of 70+ years. I have enough money to get me through the rest of my life, I just want someone who was Bobs friend to enjoy it Humor me and take it.
