Frog Mixture 965

Although I’m partial to VA blends, I do enjoy English as well. But I’m still searching for an English blend I can really fall in love with. I like Frog Morton, but it’s just not strong enough or complex enough. I’ve been trying Dunhill 965, but after several bowls I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not for me. Not sure exactly what it is I don’t like, but seems to be some kind of aftertaste between puffs that just doesn’t set well with me.
I’ve had a tin of Frog Morton open for a while, so I decided to try a 50/50 mixture. I can’t exactly call it spectacular or anything, but to my surprise it’s actually pretty good. Would recommend it if anyone is so inclined.

Complex and stronger blend. Sounds like one of the blends from G.L.Pease's Old London line maybe in order but I am just a little bias since I reeally enjoy em. I am not big on the VA's but am currently enjoying the Jackknife plug between bowls of his Quiet Nites. Complexity... IMHO he has it in his blends in abundance.
