They were sent to Haribo for authentication, who found them the real deal.
The question becomes, of course, the agent of their deposition. It is hypothesized a time-traveling Gummy Bear salesman.

It's not my fault the Clovis people loved Gummi Bears. They traded lots of rustica for them. They even figured out how to paint with them.Who happens to be a Southern Croatian business man. EMBERS!!!!!!!
