Fort Wayne, IN Pipe Shop Visit

Spent the week in Fort Wayne, IN for a conference at the Concordia Theological Seminary. Capped off my week with a visit to Riegel's Pipe & Tobacco in downtown. Picked up a few house blends, an estate Peterson, and a couple pieces of Peterson memorabilia. Enjoyed a nice chat with the owner as well. If you find yourself in Fort Wayne, I highly recommend paying a visit.

In the current "What is a Savinelli?" thread I posted that I had purchased, more than 30-years-ago, a half-bent billiard Savinelli Oscar Dry pipe. I acquired that pipe from Reigel's during a business trip to northern Indiana. It was a delightful shop then and seems by your report to have lost none of its appeal.

Riegal's is a hidden gem. I bought my first box of Fuente 858 there around 1997. While I was still living in Indiana a couple of years ago, drove up to Ft Wayne and met a good friend there on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed several Cigars together. The place hasn't changed much in over 20 years. Well, like me, the fellow in your photo behind the counter has aged and gotten gray.
