Florida Senate Bill 258 (Outdoor Smoking Ban) Fails In Committee

Florida Senate Bill 258, which would have allowed counties and cities to declare beaches, parks and other publicly owned outdoor spaces no smoking zones, failed to make it out of committee. I'm sure the proponents will be back again for their annual attempt to get this passed into law. - bp

Let's hope they focus on more pressing issues. Like jobs, etc. It's insane to think smoking be banned outside. As far as I'm concerned, when outside its between a man and his Maker.

Congrats Bob! BTW, I hate cig buts too but ther do disolve, that material is what the Gov. bought from Cig. manufactures to soak spills up. When I smokes cigarettes, I always field stripped them, filters in my pocket, baccy on the lawn.
