It's been a really painful process, but finally! We're closing on our new house Tuesday. Started work designing my shop- It's 585 sq feet and will have 1.75" thick maple countertops, industrial sandblast rig, big screen tv, leather couch, and beer fridge....For the flooring, I'm using Race Deck Flooring- Used it before on another garage-Great for making a nasty garage floor look good. It's comes in 1' tiles about 3/8" thick and snaps into place. Should be fairly forgiving for those times when I drop a pipe on the floor when I'm working on it...

This is the layout-

I used it before in a garage when I was restoring British sports cars and it's great for working on cars...impervious to grease or oil.

Is that an non-insulated garage door?

Zack's a Florida boy, betting there aren't any insulated ones down there!
That flooring looks great, but I always wondered how difficult clean-up was if you had an oil or other liquid spill? (not a probably in a pipe shop)
