So my girl in her daily routine of hitting the flea markets and consignment shops looking for stock for our thrift store came across this at a flea market. She paid 30 bucks for it, just not sure what I have here. The old man said his grandfather bought this in Germany over a 100 years ago. It needs a new stem and some work, just not sure who to send it to and if it would be worth it...

Very cool pipe it looks huge. Take some measurments. Walker does work on meers. How much did you pick it up for? It may be worth it to get the shank fixed and a stem made.

Great looking pipe. Needs to be fixed to live on. Also as a side note please refrain from having so much PENZANCE in a picture. It makes me so very sad.

Nice find mate, those German Meers are the most awsome smokers. I found one at an Antique Store last week or week before. I had to put a bit on it, cut the stem down by 2 inches and re-cork the stem where it fits into the shank. All in all, it cost me $10 for the pipe and $3 for everything else. It is a favorite now.

Another option you could consider is Norwoods Pipe Repair. I have heard very good things about him and I believe he works on meers also. I just sent a pipe in to him that had a crack in the shank. I am anxious to see what he does with it.
