First Tinsky Commission

Purchased my first Tinsky about a month ago and absolutely love it. So I decided to get a custom sand blast billiard size 6 with the 35 year aged briar. Mark has been awesome to work with and was very helpful with the whole process. He also included pictures of the pipe being created for me!

I love these types of commission posts. There is something special about a pipe being made just for you in mind. The pics of the process along the way further get one excited to finally receive it.

I have a Tinsky bent bulldog that came with some problems and had to deal with Mark to resolve it. It just fell apart while just setting in my pipe rest, but... he fixed it. He had used some new experimental way of fitting the shank to stem (or something like that). But it's fixed, and now it is my favorite pipe.
