First Time Whole Leaf

Hey Cosmic: Michael...Just got this today. Four ounces each of Dark Fire-Cured and Mild Air-Cured from the Grandfather's Spirit website. Can I just cut some of it into strips and give it a ride in my tobacco food processer?

You'd better do a little more research. I think that you should dampen it and let it sit before you work it.

Oh yeh, you can try it now, and try it after you've dampened it in the typical rehydrating-pipe-tobacco way. See which way you prefer. You're in the driver's seat. You make the calls.

As soon as I opened my large size rural mailbox I could smell the fire-cured. I haven't opened the bags yet, but I can still smell that smoke.

For me, a large part of "the tobacco experience" is the delicious smell. From that alone, I'm guessing this new leaf of yours is gonna be a great experience.

Awesome ... I'm on the whole-leaf journey myself right now.
I love the natural flavors but have also started pressing cakes and plugs with a light casing.

Since you have two Burleys, I would try them straight but plan on mixing it with some Virginia or English blends.
