Cut up some Mick McQuaid Plug into flakes on my handy dandy antique Tobacco Cutter and gave the Pietenpauw Just-1 it's maiden voyage with coffee #7 on the side, sweet smoking first smoke in what I anticipated being a great plug and flake pipe!

The tobacco cutter is perfect, you have full control of how much you cut if you can get the plug closest to the end of the mouth where the blade starts, if too thick to get there you have to come to the closest point it first makes contact. I happily was able to straighten out some off cut plugs and was concerned originally I might need to sharpen the blade but I didn't nice buy for about $70 with the shipping.
