First Post, First Briar, First Smoke.

Hello gents, this is my first post on the pipesmagazine, hope to find a common language with you all.

So today I returned from my three days trip to Milan and that's what I brought. I visited Al Pascia shop and loved everything about it, the service, the people, the atmosphere, the old pictures and at the end hundreds of pipes all around. It approved again that I'm a lover of "straigh" pipes and I'm falling in love with it more and more by time. I also brought two packages of tobacco, Clan and Golf (some Italian blend) and will soon check them out.

More about my smoking experience, well, I got a corncob so far and understood that pipe smoking really is for me and I'm going to stick with it.

Hope to have your opinions about the pipe and tobaccos.

And another picture in which you can see another pipe, which I bought for my father - Savinelli Aligator.

And an extra photo of a wine store which amazed me with its variety of wines and a bottle which gave me an unforgettable addition to the evening and dinner.

Thank you! What about tobaccos? I tried the Golf and it was a little too strong for me although I tried to go slow and not make the pipe heat up. True about the wine, and have you tried to smoke while taking little mouth of wine time by time? Is it fine to combine these two brilliant things?

Funny, the warning on the tobacco reminds me of Canada(They also had pictures in addition to the warning!?!)

I had this thought to take a few pictures, but once I entered the shop... All I could think about were pipes The same about Savinelli store :/ And I also didn't want to have any problems as most of the shops have forbidden using camera.

Welcome Blacksmith - I am very envious that you were able to buy your fist pipe in Milan at Al Pascia - very cool. Nice looking pipe too - billiards are my favorite shape as well. This is a great place to hang out - enjoy!
