Hey guys, so my first pipe is a savinelli with a dry system. I am not sure how to check which model it is but it's a briar wood and it looks absolutely fantastic. I apologise if I post too many questions but I don't have many other people to ask! After how many bowls should I clean the pipe? How many bowls do you smoke a day using the same pipe? After how many times do you change the filter? And lastly how to properly break in a pipe? Thanks in advance.

First off, good choice on the pipe. Savinelli makes a great one.
Second, clean your pipe after every smoke. This is my personal mantra, and involves a pipe cleaner or two, and a wipe with a paper towel. I own four pipes in total. And smoke the same three every single day. Sometimes the same one every day. They dont get breaks and they do just fine.
I dont have filters in my pipe, but my gut tells me when its dirty. Some even choose to ditch the filter all together. You decide for yourself. The pipe will tell you.
Last, breaking in a pipe. Choose a tobacco, any tobacco works. Some will tell you one bpend or another, but it's over-thinking it in my opinion. Smoke the pipe. Dont get it crazy hot, and let it at least cool down between smokes. Keep the leftover carbon and hapf burnt tobacco buildup to a minimum. And after a few smokes, you should have a pipe that you can beat on for this lifetime, and someone else's.
Enjoy your pipe. And the smokes. Its way too simple to really worry about. Aside from the packing and tobacco moisture (which the knowledge of how to judge this comes with a bowl or three of smoking), its pretty simple.
Great pipe choice, and many smokes to you.

Welcome mate - search around the forum, there is a lot of information on what you are asking. For example, somebody asked something similar two days ago. You might want to start from there:

Congrats and welcome to the forums.
I'm with madox except I just use a pipe cleaner folded in half to wipe down the bowl instead of a paper towel. I also run a pipe cleaner with just the tip dipped in grain alcohol through the stem and follow up with a dry pipe cleaner.
Also don't take the stem out while the pipe is hot.

The old school way of breaking in a pipe was to start with several bowls one quarter filled, then a few half way, then full on. I've done it both ways recently, and can't tell the difference, but I am a cake non-builder. I wipe the bowl with a paper towel every smoke or two. I also remove all ash and dottle, so the cake is a thin but hard layer of carbon.

Clean the pipe after every smoke. All you need is a pipe cleaner. One is enough in most cases. I at least wipe out the bowl with a damp paper towel too if not give the pipe a flush with warm water, then shake and dry again. But do that for briar only. Meers and cobs are different.

I use cleaners during each bowl I smoke, as I've found that it makes for a drier smoke and less clean up in the end. I run one down the hole a couple times (one time on each end). I tap out the ash at the end of smoking, lightly run a pick quickly around the inside of the bowl to loosen stuck on pieces of tobacco, tap again, run the same (now dry on one end) pipe cleaner through it again, blow through the pipe, and then wipe off the mouthpiece. I do this every time I smoke a pipe. I do a deeper cleaning every couple weeks where I remove the stem and make sure the mortise is nice and dry, wipe off the rims with a paper towel and saliva, and do a little finger reaming.
