First PAD of the Year - In Honor of Six

In honor of Six I just bought this 1940's Kaywoodie Super Grain #96. Not only is it a Kaywoodie, but it's a straight stem - something I normally don't buy. I couldn't go so far as a billard, but I'm slowly working towards it.

Funny thing, I thought my first PAD of the year was going to be a Savinelli - just goes to show you how things change.

The one thing the country has is lots of antique shops. I hope I'm fortunate to find something as nice.

He also has a thing for the 1940’s...especially 1941 I suspect, it being a 6 year (possibly the year the Sinister Six was founded).

Hey Plateauguy - awesome pickup. That pipe has me all over it - lol! Dating from the 1940s and Kaywoodie and a Super Grain no less. The older kaywoodies are excellent pipes and value and their Super Grain is supposed to be their top of the line. Big congrats to ya. :clap:
