Hey guys. I just thought I'd let you know that my wife and I just found out that she is pregnant! We're so excited and are hoping for a little girl! There is a negative in this, though. There's a chance that I will be TDY in training in Texas when the baby comes.
But I'm going to do everything I can to be there when he/she comes :D

Just heading to Goodfellow for some training. I can't believe the Air Force hires people to take your trays after you're done eating. Seems lazy to me.

Congrats! Kids change your life my friend. I have one starting first grade and another who is 2 months old. True love just like Shawn said. You might think you know love, then you see that baby for the first time and WOW. Its a whole new deal!

Huge congrats galeon; hope you are ready for the ridiculous amount of (mostly conflicting) advice you are about to receive!
My piece: Ignore (or forget due to exhaustion) most of what you're told - no two kids are the same and instinct takes over pretty damn quick. Although I would recommend picking up a copy of "The Baby Owners Manual"; not that the advice given is groundbreaking or overly stellar (most of the baby rearing books just outline common-sense stuff) - but it is written by a ped/dad with a great sense of humour and is worth the read for that alone.

Thanks everyone! It appears that I'm going to be able to fly out to where my wife is when she goes into labor, but i only get to spend 2 or 3 days there and then back to work...
