yes sir...I live around the cove to the right but too many trees to see it, at least thats what we're told, so not gonna chance it

they canceled most of the displays here and ban consumer fireworks because of the drought too big of a fire risk

Many cities in the area have cancelled fireworks. My kids went, but since the alarm goes off at 4:30 am, I can't stay up until 11 fighting traffic to get home. I enjoy years when I can go to see them.

Watching over water is the best way to go.

Clouds didn't affect ours , but I was inside of a Hospital so I didn't see anything

good thing we went out there too, back at home and there going off everywhere, but trees block view of the main lake too much

Nice ! Nothing like fireworks over water. Especially nice when you can watch from a boat.

I got to see three displays tonight! I heard them going off and I was able to see the Ft. Worth and Dallas ones from the parking lot!

My son and I got to see a great display tonight. One of the North Austin MUD's near my area puts on a big 4th festival every year (provided drought doesn't cancel the fireworks) that is right up there with the best of them. We got a great spot on the grass right across the street from the park they shoot off from. Nothing cooler than a nice fireworks display and seeing the awe in a five year old's eyes.

I totally should have snapped some pics of us taking everyones illegal fireworks! We had a busy night at the fire station i must say. Even with all the wild fires in new mexico, people are still shootin off some crazy stuff!
