I paid up a little on this one, 3 pipes advertised as "wooden." "Stanwell with 2 stems, one long one, W.O. Larsen, and a Dunhill Shell."
The HCA is a spotless example of the 1st version with 2 nice, bite free stems with silver Stanwell logos. The Dunhill (426) is a group 4 Shell pot with a saddle bit stem, 1976 I believe. This is my first Dunhill, I am quite excited. Seems very lightly smoked and well cared for, stem has a couple light tooth marks but as far as I can tell, pretty good shape. The Larsen is the most loved by the previous owner, a standard handmade straight made in Denmark with pretty grain but some very obvious red fills.
I am retiring from eBay for a while, even if there is a new listing for a nice Jarl Antique...
I will get some photos of my score if you care to see.
