Been off the grid for about three weeks as I was doing poorly medically speaking, too much happened that I have no desire to talk about it just moving forward day to day.
During my downtime I received my MM Cob Cigar but not having smoked until a few days ago I was aprehensive to light it up until I got some feedback from others who got one and what their thoughts were.
Well I needed to try it so I rolled one flake of Dunhill flake which was too long. I then pulled it out and snipped off the extra with a tad bit more to allow me to top it with some rubbed out. Lit very well and am enjoying my first go around with it, keeping it smokey. Glad to be back and posting.

Glad to see you back banjo. After reading about those cob cigars, I think you have figured out the best way(flake) to smoke it.

One of my favorite posters, at it again! Hey fishnbanjo, do you have an online album with all of your "keep it smokey" selfies? It would be fun to scroll through all of them.

papipeguy, it isn't hard at all, they suggest ribbon tobacco since it is springy enough to want to grip the walls of the pipe, I went for flake tobacco which worked out great withou a relight, I also did not prep it as I normally do by letting it dry a bit, I took it straight from a freshly popped tin into the pipe, cut off the excess and a tad more, rubbed out the excess then pushed the tobacco home, lit it and enjoyed just under 1/2 hour smoke. I do believe that extra moisture and good quality Virginia Flake caused this as it is essentially listed as a 10-15 minute smoke but like anything ymmv, cheers and let us know how you get along with it.
