Final Taylor Ashton - Sovereign XX

I've been slowly working towards creating a seven day set of Bill Taylor Ashtons. I made that journey a little more difficult by focusing on the XX size pipes. The final piece arrived today, via Pipestud auction and I just finished it. It's a 2006 (26) Sovereign.
The pipe just needed a mild clean-up. There was some lightened stain areas and the stem had a very mild oxidation coat. The bowl was in great shape and it's drilled perfectly (not always given with Bill Taylor!)













The rest of the Seven Day set, the wild card being the XXX Pebble Grain bulldog. Its a little large, but a favorite because of the stem shape.

I've been on a two week hiatus from pipe smoking (med test). That ends tonight. I'm going off the wagon with this one.
