Feedback on Phillip Trypis?

Reeeeeealy thinking about picking up a Trypis or two.
Thoughts?
Love? Hate? Meh?
I've got a gut feeling that these are solid pipes, I just want some input before committing to instinct. Thanks!

Phenomenal pipes! I have 3 to date and all great smokers. They're all around 30 years old or so (new to me though, ansd all unsmoked when I purchaesd them). They are at the top of the list for pipes in my rotation, not that I have a huge rotation. Contact Pruss on the forums here and he can give you even more info on Trypis.

All good to hear! I'm watching that partially rusticated billiard on BB right now, actually. Shipping seems steep, but I'm about 75% sold.
Also, there's this: Trypis Refurbs
Really really like some of those.

Congrats, Moses! Shipping at 20 bucks isn't too bad, considering ... I payed 25$ or so to send an international package from Canada last time I shipped to the US ...

Yeah, pros, cons, and the weight of a well made NOS Trypis... The balance tipped toward the pipe. 8) Can't wait!

I have met Phil, very nice man and his wife is a very sweet lady too. Phil once worked with Brigham back in the day which is why there are similarities in the rustication style. I am luke warm about the look of his pipes just personal preference but the two that i have smoke very well. My wife calls them my cottage pipes because thats where they stay. I wouldn't pay high dollar but for under $60 they are a good value
