Favourite pipe smoking activities

What are your favourite pipe smoking activities. Do you like to smoke when you walk the dog. How about ice fishing or fly fishing. Do you smoke your briar when reading a good book. What about sitting around the camp fire? Do you smoke in your sailboat? Do you like to smoke when you are moose hunting in the taiga. Maybe you smoke your meersham when you are making a youtube video. Do you light up your churchwarden in bed after a vigorous interlude with your favourite lady (or man as the case may be . . . hmmm . . . that has several connotations . . . what the heck we're an all inclusive group I assume). Perhaps you like to smoke by yourself contemplating the three-pipe problem or you like to go outside to join the other smokers at the Legion to imbibe your ale. Do you smoke your billiard in your basement woodworking shop? How about the outhouse, do you light your calabash with the door open while you take in the the view of the valley. Do you smoke your Oom Paul when you play chess?

Ok, I'm game...
In my month or so of pipe smoking I have to say that reading a good book is about as enjoyable an activity as I can think of while smoking a pipe.
My sailboat is put away for the winter, so I'm REALLY looking forward to the spring. Just imagining getting her cleaned up for the season with a pipe hanging out of my mouth. Even more so, looking forward to being on the water and enjoying a pipe or 2.
Anyone else here a sailor?

Sorry to spoil your pleasure Briar Bully but . . . I saw some pics of a crash test dummy fitted with a pipe after the air bag was deployed. I'll not be smokin' in the car.

Currently, kicking back and having an actual conversation with my wife is my favourite way to enjoy a pipe - of course, that probably stems from the fact that we are dealing with a rambunctious 8 month old, so we never really get much time alone.
I am really looking forward to warmer weather, and sitting around the campfire with good friends, good whiskey, and even better tobacco though. Mmmm...heaven.

I have to be relaxing when I smoke a pipe. It's hard for me to work or mulit-task while smoking. I like to concentrate on my pipe and nothing else, I just get a better experience that way. Usually, I'm sitting on the back porch with my wife or alone.

I enjoying puffing while fishing, a pipe and my fly rod along with a deserted stretch of water is most relaxing.

Relaxing at home on the patio in the backyard or front deck of the house. As other have stated the key word here is "Relaxing".

If I'm out front I enjoy the odd look here and there from the "fitness-nuts" jogging, running, biking up our hill how apparently don't like SMOKING enthusiasts. :crying:

I gave up jogging... the olives kept falling out of my glass. :D
I like to smoke my pipe while reading or watching a movie, drinking a brandy, Ezra Brooks, or martinis, listening to music.

Don't know bout the accuracy of the vid schitzbitz.. not too many people smoke with their pipe poking straight out in front of their face, lol. Anyways, it's safer for other drivers.. takes away my road rage. :mrgreen:
