Dan tobacco is cheap and plentiful in Europe, so I'm wondering if you have any recommendations or suggestions for people to try.

Bill Bailey's Balkan Blend, which I'm smoking right now.
Hamborger Veermaster is the most I have from them. I have a few Patriot flake that are a nice morning smoke similar to the Veermaster, but I like the Veermaster better.. I went semi deep on the Veermaster. I bought one pound of bulk which I never did again as a 3rd was shake in the bottom. . I then decided to only grab tins and I ended up with 35.
I also got a couple dozen or so of Salty Dogs which I have been aging for 6 years. I am getting ready to grab a Salty plug when I can get the right freaking knife to cut plugs.

BBBB is a very nice, very underrated blend.
Old Ironsides is pretty solid as well.
I second the Ascanian selection, while I have only smoked #2, I think the orientals in it make it different.
I bought my last Dan Tobacco when I could no longer get any Holly's Non Plus Ultra.
