Anyone else do this? When I am really bored I go to a favourtite etailers site and act as though I have hit the lotto and can buy all that I want just to see just how much it would cost to totally oversatisfy my pad/tad. I am even conservative about it and only buy the pipes I truly want, just a tin of the tobaccos I want to try and a little stock of the things that I know I like. my total is always somewhere around 16 to 20 grand.

lol - yow Ohin - that is very scary. Howsoever, I do set up not-so-fantasy lists and when I hit $100 to get free shipping, I push the Go button. Now, if I total how many times I've done that in the last 4 years I've been back at piping,.....

I do this to0! I set up my dream baccy list on Pipesandcigars all the time. One time I actually got to press GO!

I'm running low so hopefully I will sell a bunch of pipes here soon so I can score a pound of Haunted Bookshop!

Sort of - I do have a list with the tobaccos I want to keep on hand as regular smokes (which seems to grow each month) and another list with the blends I want to try. I try and get one of the "want to try" blends each month when stocking up on the "must haves".
I also like to go through the pipes sections on my favourite e-retailers site and work out what I would like to replace each of my cheaper pipes with. I sometime go a step further and plan what I would then replace those pipes with if I could afford some real top end stuff. :)

What would be nice is if the e-tailors would setup a wish list that would provide notification when an item in your list is on-sale. This would allow for the feeding of the PAD/TAD condition.

I do too. I've never been in the thousands of dollars though. LOL. Most ever was about $550. But, I guess if you're gonna dream, dream big. :D

Heck yeah I do. Im always adding things to my favorites list on Pipes and cigars. Then when my pickle jar gets enough in it, ill make a purchase.
Dont know what i would do without my fantasy wish list HAHAHAHA.
The reference to the pickle jar....I got a job for my fifteenth birthday so i could by my own guitars. Well the sonic used to get big ole jars of pickles and one day i took one home and i would put my savings in the jar and when i had enough for whatever i wanted to spend it on, then I would.
To this day i still have that pickle jar and still save money HAHAHAHAA

I don't do this specifically, but I do keep one of those little leather bound pocket notebooks with a handwritten list of all the baccy tins I want to try, then when I buy them I cross them off the list. I have maybe a few pages worth of tins, but I keep adding to it almost every day because every time I get on here I read about a new tobacco that one of you guys has tried and I go, "That sounds really good. I gotta try that." YOU PEOPLE AREN'T HELPING MY HABIT!

I've done it, but I usually do more of a "Next time I order" list as it's a little more feasible. I started out just buying the blend that I had tried and I wanted to get a tin of. Now I have a list of blends I love and I want to cellar PLUS the new ones I want to try...
