To me...well they're just like 60s space age. They're just cool...groovy...something from a long time ago...I bet more then a few became weed pipes
Why are cobs allowed? It just promotes inbreeding and reckless vegetable abuse.

Falcons are not for everyone. I personally have a large collection of Falcons. 27 bowls and 10 stems. They smoke just as good as my briar pipes and in some cases even better. I've never smoked a Hookah so I can't comment on that. They're not banned here because most, like me, consider them pipes.
I tried them and they're not for me but they certainly have a huge fan base and I can see why.
They definitively look much better when you hold them in hand than on some photos.
They are convenient as you can travel with a few stems and lots of bowls, which can save significant room in one's luggage.
They are easy to clean.
And some combos look good: the Hunter stem with a Meerschaum bowl. I personally think the Bent stem looks terrific.

I bought a new Falcon a couple of years ago. I smoked it a few times and it was a decent smoker. I ended up selling it to another forum member...it just wasn't for me. I'm glad I gave it a try though.
Cobs were extremely popular in outhouses from coast to coast.
In general, threads that focus on what one dislikes or questions deeply don't end so well.

Back on topic, Falcon Pipes are one of my pet hatreds. They seem to me to be smoked by people in the U.K from 'Up North' who wear socks with their sandals at the seaside and wander around telling you on a sunny day that 'Its turned out nice again, ain't it?'. Other signs of Falcon Pipe poisoning are becoming a devotee of George Formby and thinking that a week in Blackpool constitutes a holiday!
