Just a brief note: as a member of FB, I placed a modest note there about the first meeting of our club meeting this weekend. Who knows? Maybe it'll attract the attention of a few local pipers who don't know about our group.

That's an excellent attempt Sparrow....I have our club up on Facebook and it's been a challenge to get members just through FB...good luck I hope you have success...when you get a chance take a look at our page...

There's many social networking sites such as meetup.com that are better than fb for these things, fb is good for the actual pipeclub, but not really for attracting members. Meetup is specifically for groups looking to meet
