Experts needed—white mold or no?

Hello ladies and gentleman of the pipe world. Long time lurker here and making my first post—thanks for letting me learn from you guys. I’ve always loved burley and just popped my first tin of GL Pease Barbary Coast—I see some white powdery stuff, mostly on the darker leaf. Is this mold or good stuff? Tin is from august 2022 so not too old. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Anyone know what that white stuff is? Bottom pic is me picking out the white dusty pieces and putting them on the paper. I’ve popped at least 20 tins of various tobacco (none of them aged) and never seen the white powdery stuff like that. I appreciate the guidance

Based on cursory research following my own recent experience with mysterious white stuff in a tin - I think it's like, solidified oils that seeped out of the leaf, or sugar or something.

not sure what it is precisely have theories but... the one thing that's certain is it is a sign the tobacco has gotten extra good. Only had it happen a few times and always seems to be the best stuff ever.

if you dont have access to magnifying instruments, get yourself a 30x loupe on amazon. you'll be able to see all the close up detail you need...
