I just purchased this beauty from a guy living in Portugal. He is not a renown pipe maker, but has already produced a few pipes so far worth having. This particular one has been made out of a plateaux block, it is a straight grain as you can see, and flawless as far as I can tell. It has two rings, black acrylic and palm tree wood. Here are the specks:
Length - 145 mms / 5.7''
Height - 53 mms / 2.08''
Chamber Diameter - 22 mms / 0.86''
Chamber Height - 43 mms / 1.69''
Weight - 48 gram
I am posting this for one particular reason. Had this pipe been made by Peterson or Stanwell, just to quote a few pipe makers of prestige, it would have cost a fortune. I am not going to say how much I have paid for this one as I might sell it in the end, but sometimes, I think it is worth looking around for bargains. At the end of the day, what should matter, is the quality of the product and not the name they stamp on it. I honestly believe this is a steal and I wanted to share it with you all.
