If variety is indeed the spice of life, you're going to be one hot tamale. Here's the bad news. You're going to love a bunch of that and TAD will be your mantra from there.
Haha, TAD has been my mantra for some time, sir! Thankfully I’ve already had a few of them so this is the post trial stock up for those.

Nice! Not much makes me happier than the sight of that box with the the orange German tape on the porch. I'll be curious to hear what you think of the Fayyum. Still haven't tried any of his Latakia blends.

That is actually the Special Fayyum Kake, which I ordered because I LOVE the regular Fayyum that I got in my last order. It is fantastic.

That and the Louisiana Broken are my favorite HU blends so far.

Well dammit, now I'm gonna have to put that on the next order. LA Broken is awesome for sure. I've been burning a lot of Edward G and Makhuwa lately, but everything I've tried from HU is more or less a favorite.

Enjoy! That's a lot of smokes! When I saw "Estervals" I opened the thread immediately given all the pretty pipes he sells.

I can think of no more useless yet supremely seductive and wondrous practice than hoarding tobacco. My advice, which I took, was to cellar five times as much as I could ever possibly smoke. Around 2010 when I wanted to transition to cigars I sold about $3K of tobacco to afford them, which never really worked out; for my money they were just too expensive. This was only about a third of my cellar. Late at night I used to listen to the music from my multitude of jars "pinging" as the lids settled.

In memory yet fond. . .

That's one beautiful picture. Maybe someday I'll have the guts to order from over there. Just paranoid about customs

It just arrived after placing the order November 14th? Does it normally take that long? Great haul though.

I think it depends on where you are located and it also seems to be a bit random. I have placed 5 orders with Estervals for around a total of $1500. The first 3 took 8 days to 2 weeks. The last one took around 3 weeks. I placed the last order on Dec 11 and it isn't showing up on the USPS tracking yet (which means it hasn't reached the US or passed US Customs yet - the tracking doesn't provide much detail, it tells you when Estervals sends it to DHL and then it just sits until USPS gets it). Knock on wood, but everything I ordered from Pfeifendepot and Estervals has ultimately always arrived and in good condition. That's really the only thing I care about.

I would guess it takes longer with more holdups over the holidays.

glad to hear the average time is less than I thought.

keep in mind AlaskanPiper is in Alaska.. which probably takes about the longest possible.
