My wife found a pipe chest(I'll post pics as soon as I figure out how)at an estate sale that came with 3 pipes. An older Kaywoodie that had the stinger cut off, a Colassals Custom Made(smokes remarkably well by the way) and a small Peterson Shamrock(shape #53, it smokes good but I don't get along with the P-Lip). She also found an old Tinder Box Milano that she got for $2.00 and it looked like she paid $1.50 too much. But looks can be deceiving. Upon closer inspection, I could tell that the original owner really liked this pipe and used it a lot. The finish was worn away where his fingers had grasped it and the stem was oxidized and chewed. But the bowl, although dirty and well used, looked sound. So I took some time and gave the old pipe a good cleaning and I can now see why he liked it so much. Its now the best smoking briar in my collection.
But anyway, I've strayed off topic here. Can anyone tell me anything Colassals Custom Made and the Peterson Shamrock? And if you have some comments on the Tinder Box Milano line of pipes please include those too.
Thanks
