I have this estate pipe that has an interesting tale behind it. I used to be really active on a cigar forum(no name mentioned but too much drama), and likeany places they had a secret santa every year. Well mine this particular year knew i smoked pipes a lot as well, and added an estate pipe into my box. I was quite happy to get it, but then dissapointed. Why you ask? Well I could do no good at finding some stuff out about it. I just knew a little google work and I would be good to go. But there I was wrong. I smoked it some off ad on and it's a good smoking pipe, but then it got more interesting. A year or two after receiving it I was at my grandmothers house one day and for whatever reason she was watching old home movies from when her parents were still around. Her dad everyone knew as "Pa" smoked a pipe and this I already knew. Well it goes across him and comes back and they zoomed up on his face, his pipe was hanging from his mouth and my jaw dropped. I asked her to not take that tape out and I would be right back. I showed back up minutes later with my secret santa pipe in hand. It was the exact same type of pipe that Pa smoked. I showed my grandmother and she was surprised as well. I tried to get some info on that cigar forum as a few pipe smokers were around, but nobody had any info on it. I hope some of you can help me out here! I hope to find out what tobacco he smoked as well, would definately love to smoke some of it out of this pipe.
