I found this pipe in an antique mall in Nashville for $8. It has absolutely no branding whatsoever, except for a hollow circle on the stem -- which appears to be a replacement stem (or a random stem tacked onto someone's homemade pipe). I'm assuming the pipe is homemade. But it's extremely light, well-built, and features a layered sandblast finish that I wouldn't think most hobbiest pipemakers would be able to develop.
Normally, I wouldn't pick up something like this. But I liked the shape and was intrigued by the lack of any info on the pipe itself. Haven't tried smoking it yet, but I'm hopeful.
