Erik Stokkebye @ JR Cigars in Burlington NC

Hi All,
Just wanted to mention that Erik Stokkebye will be at the JR Cigar in Burlington on Thursday Dec 19 from 4-9 pm.

There will be a raffle and he will be talking about 4th Generation, his family and all things pipe related.

I am within striking distance but unfortunately have another commitment. I'm intrigued that he chose

JR as his venue, I guess because it is a volume retailer. I make a run to JR, but to the east rather than

this one, once or twice a year for discount tins of Dunhill blends and such, and cans of OTC blends.

I wish I could make it, the last time I saw Erik was before Peter passed away. I will never forget we were talking about our daily tobacco and Peter said "I only smoke luxury flake. I start in the morning with it unrubbed, just folded, and I rub it out more and more through the day the more and more I have to deal with my son."
Peter was a wonderful man, and Erik is following right in the same footsteps.

Erik's a great guy and has a ton of knowledge. I learn something every time I see him!

I drive by the JR at least a few times a year and never even considered that they would stock pipe stuff.
