The annual pipe show at Ron Kern's Tobacco Village in Whitehall, PA, was great this year. Here's what I came away with: it's an Erik Nording Signature Pipe (my third), but this one has an unusual two-colored grain. I also splurged on the Peterson ashtray; it has two pipe caddies on it -- never saw anything like it before. I was tempted to buy the Erik Nording bobble-head, but somehow I managed to resist.

holysmokes ... that name is giving me quite the chuckle. :puffy:
That's a fine pipe there. My Erik Nording FS is the prize of my collection, if you ask me.
I have to get myself to a Pipe Show someday.

Nice pick, Father Michael. I'm sure we'll meet up this week and share a bowl at TV. I bought anther Matro Beraldi and a Rattray Highland apple.

I think the shape of that freehand works so well with the wood grain.

Thanks for taking a moment to post the picture for us. (Enormous drool factor.)

I can see why you're such a big fan of Nording. Nice grab!

Beautiful pipe! I wish I knew how it was done. I want to use a similar staining method on walking cane.
