Bosun cut plug is really good.
But you won’t ever get that magical experience the first few time you are puzzled by Ennerdale again. It’s like trying to catch the tail of the dragon…..

Mac Baren "The Cube".
There’s a blast from the past. The Cube. I quite liked it for a time, but I must have fallen for the marketing and packaging at the time of launch. Does anyone remember those silver-toned plastic cubes with the hinged lids? I signed up for something with Mac Baren and they mailed (in the post) promotional material and a tiny CD-rom, oddly rectangular in shape, like half a credit card. With product info, videos etc. The tobacco was hugely aromatic and provoked many compliments from bystanders.

If you like Ennerdale you'll probably like #7 Broken Flake.
My primary complaint is that it's not more strongly scented. But what's there is very nice.
As Brad said, to some extent there are diminishing returns on Lakeland sauce; so, pick one whose base you love, and you'll always enjoy at least that.

Back when "The Cube" was new, I recieved a....tin?.....box?....cube of it in an order from Mars Cigars.
I did not order it, so I wondered if it was a gift or a mistake.
I called them, it was a mistake.
The guy on the phone laughed and said, "it's an odd smoke, I hope you enjoy it.".
He was right, it was odd. Kind of fruity, kind of dark, and very aromatic.
I smoked the entire cube but didn't order it again. My wife still has the cube somewhere. She uses "cool" pipe tins and cigar boxes for stuff. :)

I just discovered this tobacco last night and I have to say that it blew me away at how good it was. What would you recommend I try next if I liked this one so much? TIA
Northwoods and Ennerdale Flake. I never had Ennerdale Mixture.
Northwoods and Ennerdale both have a smell that pipers in my pipe circle locally called floral. They each were the only two blends I have tried that have a clean white bar soap smell.
The white soap smell was not awful, just sharp, acrid, clean, like when I wash my face with soap.
The other two pipers in my circle didn't notice the white soap smell, so you probably won't, and it's just a unique trait I have, like how some people think cilantro tastes bitter. But I mention this because the two blends must have some special commonalities in the ingredients.
