I just tried an English blend for the first time over the weekend. I loved it and can't believe I have been missing it . It was a house blend called Naw'lins. I bought 2 ounces.

Tried my first English blend the other day. Loved it. Very distinct taste and flavor. It was Solano Special, from Solano County here in California.

+1 Baron & Chris... If you want a seriously tasty and inexpensive English go P&C and get Newminster English Oriental!!! Great Stuff man!!! The other 2 Newminster Englishes are fabulous!!!

I bought 2oz of penzance, however I have not tried it yet.. Wifey doesn't like the smell of latakia or heavy smokie smells in the house, and it is still 89 degrees here.. guess I will just have to man up and head outside to smoke it tomorrow...

yesterday at the local B&M I was looking at all the usual suspects and mentioned to the clerk I wanted to try something new to me.. he handed me a tin of 1888 Early Day and I thinking this must be good stuff at about 1/2 price of the others but I bought it. I 'm going back today and pickup and pick-up a few more tins.
