Elba Pipes

I picked up this set of Elba straight apples on the bay for a steal! They needed some cleaning of course but I was surprised by how well they turned out vs what I paid for them.
The brand however, I know absolutely nothing about. They are stamped Elba and Italy on the pipe but I haven't been able to find any other info on them. They look and feel like decent quality briar. Given the price and lack of details I was expecting less however they look pretty darn good.
I haven't smoked them yet. Still need to clean the inside up on both of them and run a retort. Not sure if I'll keep them or not. Just couldn't pass up the good deal on some pipes to play around with

Those are very elegant looking pipes. Nice work as usual.

Nice looking pipes, sir. Especially after cleaning them up. Did some research online, turned up nothing for elba pipes. There is some info referring to a Lorenzo Elba, which is most likely the pipe maker, but it is very limited information.
