I have been hunting for my first authentic meer. Well, ok, I have an Altinok LVC pipe that I have smoked a few times, but the bowl is already colored (part of the look), so I don't count it. Picked up this Baki a few days ago. ANxious to see how it colours. I picked up some beeswax - but how do I use it?

Beautiful pipe peckin. IMO a lot of Meers out there are cheesy looking as hell! I love the steam, just enough to make it look unique,not gaudy . I really like it!!!

Peck that is a sharp meer. I'm with Roth -forget the beeswax. In just a short 6 months to a year of smoking the bowl and shank will be close to matching the bamboo and that will look fantastic. I just read today that a meer doesn't need wax until it it starts looking dull or chalky.

What a beautiful Meer Peck. I am a fan of the basic shapes, and Baki creates beautiful pipes. Good luck with the coloring.

Congrats peck. That is a great looking meer. Good luck on the coloring, too.

@peckinpahhombre,
You want to wax this pipe again by using beeswax ?
